MAY 15, 2003 R.C.R.A. MINUTES
PRESENT AT THIS MEETING WERE THE FOLLOWING:
JUDY (KB9MGI), JAMES (KB9UVF) MIKE (KB9ZOK), DAVE (KB9UVG). MARILYN (N9XZF). OLLIE CRAIG (KB9IRF), MELVIN GRAY (KB9ZOL), BOB CANNON ( KE9DJ),(THERESA MEYER, CRYSTAL MEYER, HELEN GUTZWILLER,CHARLENE GRAY )
The meeting was called to order by JUDY (KB9MGI). Minutes were read by Marilyn (N9XZF) and they were approved. Judy (KB9MGI) gave the Treasurers report.
OLD BUSINESS:
1. Testing session was on April 27, 2003 at Batesville Library 1:30 to 5:00 p.m. Please congratulate the 2 new hams Doug Reynolds (KC9DYP) and Bob Petrosenko (KC9DYO). They passed their Tech tests through the RCRA's 4/27/03 testing session.
2. Breakfast at 9:00 a.m. at Milan Reservation May 10, 2003 was enjoyed by all. Dan put on a show about QSL cards and post card collecting
3. Swap Fest at the Napoleon Town Building will be on October 26, 2003. Tables will be $5.00, which includes entrance fee. Everyone else will be charged $2.00 entrance fee.
NEW BUSINESS
1. Judy (KB9MGI) to check with Peetzs to see if we can use the farm for Field day and also Junes Meeting so we can see if we need to do anything before Field Day.
2. Next Meeting will be A PICNIC ON June 19, 2003 at Peetzs Farms. Picnic Menu is Hot Dogs ( Dan ), Hamburgers ( OPEN), Bake Beans (Mel & Pinky), Brownies (Dave), Chips, Pretzels (Marilyn), Drinks (John & Deb), condimrens and paper products (Judy), Buns (Ollie). Anyone wanting to bring something else please do so.
3. Field Day June 28 & 29 at Peetz Farm in Napoleon In and again we will have Breakfast, Dinner, & Supper. Will discuss more on this as next meeting. Also CALL SIGN TO USE.
5. A 5-K Run at Batesville Liberty Park on June 18, 2003 and we were asked to to help.
The Storms that we had go thru the area on Saturday. Everyone did a great job on reporting and checking out different areas that they were sent to.
ALSO, WE ARE STILL ALIVE !!! THE END OF THE WORLD DIDNT HAPPEN !!! BUT DAN (KM9X) DID GET ANOTHER YEAR OLDER!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO DAN , who was working, FROM ALL OF US.

APRIL 17,2003 R.C.R.A. MINUTES
PRESENT AT THIS MEETING WERE THE FOLLOWING:
RANDY (AB9GO), LOUIS (KB9VRY), JUDY (KB9MGI), JAMES (KB9UVF) MIKE (KB9ZOK), JOHN (N9MLH), DEB (N9TMH), DAVE (KB9UVG). MARILYN (N9XZF). OLLIE CRAIG (KB9IRF), DAN MULFORD (KM9X), MELVIN GRAY (KB9ZOL), BOB CANNON ( KE9DJ),SUE MARTIN (KC9CCK),BILL KEMP (N3KKF) WHO JUST MOVED INTO OUR AREA. ( THERESA MEYER, CRYSTAL MEYER )
The meeting was called to order by DAN (KM9X) . Minutes were read by JUDY (KB9MGI) because Marilyn (N9XZF) could not talk due to cold, and they were approved. Judy (KB9MGI) gave the Treasurers report.
OLD BUSINESS:
1. Louie (KB9VRY) and Randy (AB9GO) stated that the repeaters were working fine.
2. Severe weather class was held April 6, 2003 At the Napoleon Town Building 8:00 a.m. till 5:00 p.m. was enjoyed by all .
3. Testing session will be on April 27, 2003 at Batesville Library 1:30 to 5:00 p.m.
4. Breakfast at 9:00 a.m. at Milan Reservation March 22, 2003 was enjoyed by all. Dan put on a show and we all enjoyed seeing it and remembering some good times by all.

6. Bill 109 is still open passed 73/9 in joint hearing of House & Senate on 75 antennas.

Everyone welcomed back Bob (KE9DJ) from Florida and also welcomed Bill Kemp (N3KKF) to the meeting and to the area and for him to come and join us for the activities coming up.
Mel (KB9ZOL) took the Floor and talked about HF 20, 75 meters and and all the different hams he has been talking with. Mel also showed us the QSl cards that he has designed and we all enjoyed them. Mel also has a hat now with his call sign on, that he designed also.
Net Control was assigned for each Sunday Night Nets.
Dan (KM9X) adjourned the meeting.

JANUARY 16, 2003
R.C.R.A. MINUTES
PRESENT AT THIS MEETING WERE THE FOLLOWING:
DAN (KM9X), OLLIE (KA9IRF), LOUIS (KB9VRY), JUDY (KB9MGI), MARILYN (N9XZF) who braved a cold and snowy night.
The meeting was called to order by DAN (KM9X), The Minutes were read by Marilyn (N9XZF), they were approved as read. The Treasurer's report was given by Judy (KB9MIG).
OLD BUSINESS:
1. Louis (KB9VRY) stated that the HF net was working OK but on 85-95 sometimes it is up and down. Also that the repeaters were working fine.
2. For the ARES position Dave (A9ID), has not got back to us yet.
3. Deb (N9TMH), has not checked with N. W .S. in Wilmington, OH yet.
4. Dan (KM9X) gave an update on the severe weather class to be held April 6, 2003 and that there were 32 people signed up, and only 23 spaces left.
NEW BUSINESS:
1. Breakfast on January 25, 2003 at 9:00 am at the Reservation in Milan In
2. Dues are due at this time, reminder will be needed.
3. Four (4) batteries for the 220/440 repeaters will be put on when Randy and Louis have time.
4. Judy (KM9MIG) talked about CPR Recertification classes for RACES for February 1, 2003. Bill Cook to be the instructor at the Red Cross Office in Versailles at 1:00 p.m.
Dan (KM9X) discussed about QST or CQ subscription to be put into School Libraries. He check with ARRL and they said they do not have anything at this time for this. They will check and see what they can do and will get back with Dan later.
