NET CONTROLS
Reminders:
1. Remember to check for anything for SHORTIME STATIONS before going to INFORMAL. Many stations use the net as a meeting place for another station.
2. Remember to MAKE THE CALL FOR ANNOUNCEMENTS OR BULLETINS before the INFORMAL. This is what most people check in for!
3. NO TRAFFIC means they have no formal NTS messages to pass- that DOES NOT mean they are on short time and have no comments...
4. Acknowledge all stations that check in or they will continue to keep calling in.
5. The nets are the WINDOW SHOWCASE for the RCRA and a good lively net is always a good sign of a lively club.
6. TOPICS for discussion are always welcomed on the net. Give them something to comment about instead of SHORTIME all the time.

PLEASE JOIN the INDIANA TRAFFIC NET on 3.910kc
The ITN has over a 25 year tradition of handling routine and emergency traffic as part of the National Traffic System (NTS).
Traffic is routed in and out of the state via the 9th Region NTS Net.
The ITN and 3.910kc is THE PLACE to meet in any disaster of emergency situations statewide.
The Indiana Traffic Net meets every day of the year at 1330(8:30am); 2130 (4:30pm) and 2300 UTC (6pm).
Some RCRA members are regular checkins and KM9X is a net control at 6pm on Tues.
